Project Details:
Definitely my most unique garage addition which included a kitchen, bathroom and loft. No sheetrock. Wood materials were applied to interior walls and ceilings such as bead board, and 5/8 OSB plywood.
The only traditional element was a standard panel garage door. All other openings were custom made over sized cedar barn doors and window openings with wrought iron decorative straps and railings.
Stained custom cabinets, wood looking tile backsplash, custom smooth thick cedar countertop, round pebble shower pan and an acid washed shower were the interior finishes.
Another interesting element introduced was a ships ladder to the loft, built with heavy wooden treads, no risers and galvanized metal pipe railing that creates a conversation piece.
